Tom Lopez

Chief Executive Officer & Founder


Who is Tom?

Tom’s professional experience is a blend of education, business, and the arts. With nearly 40 years serving people of all ages, he has consistently expressed his passion for creating a foundation of caring, empathy, and creativity serving others.  His leadership provides an empowering spirit that enables all people toward collaborative and shared success.


Tom has served in a variety of roles as an educator including school administration (principal, assistant principal, academic dean), classroom instructor (math, music, philosophy, theology), and student services. His strongest passion focuses on strengthening the developmental process of learning (regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity) through imagination, creativity, and discovery within academics and the arts. As an experienced education administrator, he has provided educational leadership in the areas of instructional services, curriculum development, and categorical program development in both public and private educational institutions serving grades K-12 and college students.


His experience in business leadership includes serving in roles as chief executive officer, executive director, as well as operations and marketing director. Additionally, he has served many communities throughout Southern California as a community outreach organizer, youth minister, and volunteer crisis counselor. Tom possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities (emphasis in Music) and a Masters degree in Organizational Management.

Daniel Silva

V. P. Program Development

Who is Daniel?

Dan Silva was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca and began studying music at the age of eleven. At the age of 16 he began performing professionally as a saxophonist and went on to study music in college. He attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville on a full tuition scholarship as a jazz studies major. While at UNF Dan studied jazz saxophone with legendary Chicago saxophonist, Bunky Green and had the opportunity to perform alongside many legendary jazz artists such as Slide Hampton, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Al Grey, John Faddis, Maria Schneider, Billy Drummond, Russell Malone, and the Count Basie Orchestra to name a few. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, he moved back to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a freelance musician. In the spring of 2003 he graduated from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music with a Master in Music degree (Jazz Composition and Saxophone Performance).

His career as a musician has allowed for many wonderful experiences including teaching, traveling the U.S., Europe and Asia, performing broadway musical, and backing many well known acts such as: Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Rait, Kurt Elling, Tito Puente, Bobby Ridell, Mitzy Gaynor, Dale Kristien(Phantom of The Opera), and Lorna Luft. He can be seen performing regularly with the band "Smooth Touch" and Dave Damiani's "No Vacancy Orchestra."


As an educator, Dan Silva has taught music to students at various levels. He has been on staff as an adjunct music professor at Citrus College in Glendora, CA for the past 12 years. He is the founder of the choral/instrumental music programs at St. Catherine of Alexandria in Riverside, CA and Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, CA. In addition, Dan is an in demand saxophonist/woodwind specialist and Jazz/Commercial music clinician/lecturer in Southern California.

Taotao Li

Marketing & Global Outreach


Who is Taotao?

Taotao Li was born in China and raised in Guangzhou about 100 miles outside of Hong Kong. Taotao (also known as “Joe”), joined the e2e Learner Team in 2012 as a graphic designer. Since then he has expanded his role as a marketing specialist. His work includes web design and management, development of marketing materials, and development of global market materials.


Taotao is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. He is a major contributor to our global market strategies. He has been greatly instrumental in the growth of e2e Learner interest in China.

Taotao holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts from California State University San Bernardino and in currently completing a Master of Business Administration at the University of La Verne.

Tina Yang

Global Programs Specialist


Who is Tina?

Tina is a global travel industry professional.  She is a Chinese-American brings a plethora of experience to e2e Learner focused on travel, tours, and seasonal school-based education programs.  Tina has been working in the travel industry between the United States and Southeast Asia since 1990.  She is an expert in planning and providing group services including custom tours, air travel, private charter travel, room accommodations, and tour guides.  Her accomplishments include group bookings for up to 800 persons.


Tina’s contributions and travel resource availability make her a strong member to the e2e Learner Team.  Her primary focus with e2e Learner includes marketing and securing e2e Learner’s seasonal (primarily summer and winter) Program called “Studio 3” to interested students from Southeast Asia.  Her professional experience includes ensuring student educational visits with sleeping accommodations, meals, and excursions to the United States.

Monica French

Visual Arts Program Director


Who is Monica?

Monica French was born and raised in Pomona, California.  Monica is not a stranger to the world of Theater Arts and all that is necessary to direct a theater play production.  Her specialty is working as costume designer and a seamstress.  She has provided her talents at Knott’s Berry Farm Entertainment Theme Parks in Buena Park, California for over 8 years.  She is an adjunct professor in Theater Arts at Whittier College and Pomona College.  Notable amongst her professional experiences is her work under the stage with costume management and maintenance for Prince during his Los Angeles concert appearances in 2011.  She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Pitzer College (Claremont Colleges).  She also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theater from California State University Fullerton in California.

Simona Seres

Instructional Curriculum Specialist


Who is Simona?

Simona Seres, originally from Romania, got her Bachelor of Music from University of Transylvania, Brasov in Music Education. She is currently a MM candidate at the University of Redlands where she studies Bassoon Performance with Dr. Carolyn Beck. Simona, a graduate assistant in the School of Music, plays in Wind Ensemble, University Orchestra and various chamber ensembles. She, also enjoys teaching private bassoon and piano lessons, through the Community School of Music Association at University of Redlands.
